Implementation Plan

Setting Policy Tasks to Implement the Basic Plan

In accordance with the Framework Act on Intellectual Property (Article 8), the government establishes a basic plan for intellectual property (IP) every five years to set medium- to long-term policy goals and basic directions for IP.

In accordance with Article 9 of the Framework Act on IP, the National Intellectual Property Implementation Plan-a detailed annual action plan to realize the policy objectives of the Basic Plan for Intellectual Property-is developed.

The National Intellectual Property Committee reviews and confirms the National Intellectual Property Implementation Plan by synthesizing the implementation plans of relevant central administrative agencies and metropolitan local governments (Article 6, Framework Act on Intellectual Property).
